🚨 E-Bike Safety Guide

Riding a Diesel E-Bike is an exciting and powerful experience. Like any motorized vehicle, proper safety practices are essential to ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and responsible ride. Follow the guidelines below every time you ride.

1. Protective Gear & Equipment

We strongly recommend wearing appropriate safety gear whenever riding a Diesel E-Bike.

  • Always wear a properly fitted helmet.

  • Wear closed-toe shoes with good grip.

  • Consider gloves, eye protection, and protective clothing, especially for longer or higher-speed rides.

  • Avoid loose clothing that could get caught in moving parts. Rear riders have caution of loose clothing rubbing against the gear shifter.

2. Pre-Ride Safety Check

Before every ride, take a moment to inspect your bike.

  • Check tire pressure and ensure tires are properly inflated.

  • Test your brakes to confirm they are responsive and functioning correctly.

  • Make sure all bolts, fasteners, and components are tight and secure.

  • Confirm the battery is properly seated and locked.
  • Check the bike controller for power and range before riding.

A quick check helps prevent mechanical issues and keeps your ride safe.

3. Riding Awareness & Control

  • Ride at speeds appropriate for your surroundings

  • Be extra cautious on uneven surfaces, wet roads, sand, or gravel. This includes trail riding with loose rocks and wet leaves.

  • Use both hands on the handlebars at all times

  • Keep a safe distance from vehicles, pedestrians, and obstacles

  • We recommend single-rider use, especially in off-road or challenging conditions
